By day, WhyNot! is a fresh and relaxed cafe, where you can plug into wireless internet, play a game of chess, watch the passing parade down Byron Bay's main street or totally chill out in the daybed lounge. All whilst enjoying freshly roasted and ground coffee, and savouring the delights which our breakfast and lunch menus have to offer.

Situated in central Byron Bay makes it an ideal place to meet friends or colleagues for lunch. WhyNot! is the perfect place to enjoy a fresh seafood or salad dish, and our signature club burger is not to be missed.

By night, you can sit at the bar and select from over 60 wines (and 20 different grape varieties), which are all available by the glass. You can also sample our wide range of International and Australian beers, liqueurs and spirits. Or perhaps you would like to sample some of our famous cocktails as the Byron Bay evening progresses.

Dinner is where things really heat up. The focus and attention to detail from the kitchen is pure class. Our menu is designed weekly and always has a prix fixe menu- two courses for $30 and three courses for $40, with a glass of house wine. Or try our 'easy as' Sunday special when all of our cocktails are only $10. With value like that, the only thing left to ask is... WhyNot?
